Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced User Experience and Systems Design Analyst to facilitate the design and implementation of technology solutions by coordinating and guiding the requirements gathering process. This role involves working closely with users, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure that system designs align with user needs and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate the requirements gathering process by interviewing users and stakeholders to capture business needs and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain templates, approaches, and methods for analyzing and gathering requirements.
  • Participate in and/or lead user experience sessions with end users and organizational stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with user expectations.
  • Coordinate the design, development, and deployment of technology work products, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the process.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet user needs, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Utilize a variety of software development and requirements methodologies to guide the project, with a focus on Agile Scrum practices.
  • Maintain overall direction and coordination of requirements gathering efforts throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a User Experience and Systems Design Analyst role, with at least 2 years in an oversight or leadership capacity.
  • Strong experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability to facilitate design sessions and capture detailed requirements from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies and best practices for requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working with student information systems or similar large-scale IT systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

This role is key in ensuring that technology solutions are well-designed, user-focused, and meet the needs of the organization while being aligned with overall project objectives
